When people ask us how long it takes to design a website, they usually want to know how long it takes (time-scale) a website designer to do the design and build work. When in fact the most important thing you should be asking yourself is: How much time will it take yourself to prepare a clear project description and write a copy?

Most website designers will tell you that your website can be designed and built a whole lot faster if you come prepared - with your copy written and a clear explanation of what you want. In our past experience as a designers, the majority of hold-ups occurred because copy hadn't been written. And the hold-ups could go on for weeks as the whole agonising-over-what-to-write process runs its course.

Here at RUOnTheWeb we recommend that you research the web by visiting as many website as possible to give yourselves food for thought for when it comes to writing your copy for your website. When you have decided to consider building a website, this information along with our experience, should shorten the whole process of getting your site online.
